STFFAR is a team of animal lovers and welfare advocates working together to save the tough cases. Being a NC rescue means that we are working with shelters and homeless pets in the #3 highest rated kill state in the US. Please go online and do our online adoption application. After that, you will be contacted by one of our area (Traid, Triangle or Coastal) adoption directors to process your application if you are approved. Applications can be denied for various reasons, and in other cases sometimes based on application, directors may recommend a different pet that may be a fit if another is pending adoption, or personalities do not seem to match. Our goal is to find out pets forever homes, and we are not a first come first serve rescue. We choose families based on the need of the animal.
