Pet Adoption League of NY is a 501c3 charitable corporation.   We are a network charity of Best Friends Animal Society and a member of the Mayors Alliance for Animals of the City of NY.  We are one of the recommended Chow Chow rescue organizations by the Chow Chow welfare committee of the National Chow Chow club. We rescue dogs in need throughout the us, provide all necessary medical care and transport them to their forever homes.  Although we specialize in the rescue and placement of Chow Chow and Chow mixes, we do take other breeds and mixed breeds when the need is great.  We are always looking for good, reliable foster homes so we can save more of these poor abandoned dogs.
