Hart-2-Heart Rescue is a non-profit organization formed to rescue small mixed-breed and purebred dogs. Our focus is to provide a happy future for our foster dogs, to guarantee the care and support needed to ensure their full health of both mind and body. Everything we do is driven by the passionate belief that we can improve life for the dogs in our care regardless of their background, whether they are strays, abandoned, from puppy mills or shelters, or victims of unavoidable circumstances.

If you are interested in meeting one of our foster dogs, please email us. If you do not see a dog you are interested in, feel free to email us. We are happy to keep your information on file so when we get a dog that you might want to consider adopting we can notify you. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, NC to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. There is an application process and adoption fee. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding.As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing
